How do I connect Stripe to SuiteDash?

Go to Office > Gateways, click Configure on Stripe, and paste in your Stripe API keys. Clients can then pay invoices online by card, or by ACH bank transfer if you're eligible, and you can run auto-charged subscriptions.

Steps

  1. Go to Office > Gateways.
  2. Click Configure on Stripe (or Stripe ACH).
  3. In Stripe, when you create the key, choose "Building your own integration", not "providing this key to another website".
  4. Paste the keys into SuiteDash and click Save. Pick your currency when it asks.
  5. Send a test invoice from Office > Invoices and check that the Pay Now button shows.

Watch out for

  • The first gateway you set up becomes your Preferred Gateway.
  • Use the same currency as your recent invoices. The gateway screen warns you about a mismatch.
  • ACH payments take a few business days to clear, and the invoice shows as processing until then.
  • With Stripe ACH, subscriptions have to bill monthly or less often.
  • If an invoice was created with "Do not offer Online Payment", it won't show Pay Now.
  • The PayPal gateway can't run subscriptions. Use Stripe, Braintree or Authorize.net for those.

Does SuiteDash take a cut of my Stripe payments?

No. SuiteDash says it doesn't take any cut of the payments your clients make through the platform, and it has no promotional relationship with any gateway. Can clients pay by ACH bank transfer in SuiteDash?

Yes, if you're eligible, through Stripe ACH. Set it up in Office > Gateways. Bank payments aren't instant: they clear over the following business days, and the invoice shows as processing until it settles.
